What's the difference between a canvas and a digital chart?
A canvas is a physical needlepoint canvas, stitch printed or hand painted, ready for you to stitch straight onto - no counting required. It ships to you as a rolled or flat canvas. A digital chart is a downloadable PDF pattern (plus a Stitchly file and DMC floss list) that you print at home or follow on a device, and stitch onto your own blank canvas at whatever mesh size you like. Charts are instant downloads with no physical item shipped.
Which mesh size should I choose?
Most of my designs are on either 18 or 13 mesh mono canvas. 18 mesh gives a finer, more detailed finish; 13 mesh stitches up faster and is a little easier on the eyes. If you're working from a digital chart, you can stitch it on any mesh count - use my mesh size calculator to work out the finished size for your chosen mesh from the stitch count given on the listing.
Do your canvases come with thread?
No - canvas listings are for the unstitched canvas only. Threads, needles and finishing are not included, so you can stitch with your own preferred fibres.
Can I use a digital chart on canvas I already own?
Yes - that's exactly what charts are for. Just check the stitch count against your canvas's mesh size using the calculator above to make sure it'll fit the way you want.
What's the difference between stitch printed and hand painted?
Both are designed to be stitched in exactly the same way. On a hand-painted canvas, the design is painted directly onto the canvas by hand. On a stitch-printed canvas, the design is digitally printed and aligned to the canvas intersections. I use stitch printing because it allows me to offer more designs, keep popular canvases available and get them into your hands faster.
Can I sell something I've stitched using one of your designs?
You're very welcome to stitch Golden Hour designs for yourself or as gifts. My designs, charts and canvases are for personal use only, however, and may not be reproduced, redistributed or used to create products for commercial sale without permission.
Do you offer wholesale?
Yes! Golden Hour Needlepoint is available for wholesale orders from needlepoint shops and other retailers. If you're interested in stocking my designs, please get in touch with a little information about what you're looking for and I can send you the current wholesale information and ordering details.
Shipping
How long will my order take to ship?
Orders are dispatched from my fulfilment partner in the US. Orders before 12pm Eastern ship out same day, by USPS ground advantage shipping. This usually arrives to domestic US customers in 3-5 days.
Do you ship internationally?

Can I return or exchange an item?
If you have any issues with your order, please get in touch and I'll be happy to help. As digital products are delivered instantly, digital chart purchases are non-refundable.
